I hope you find the reflections of these professional dancers helpful and insightful. Stoppages in what defines the culmination of often decades of training can be very traumatic. I had one professional question whether she was still a dancer since she was no longer dancing.  It was a heartbreaking question. I thought she was because being a dancer is so much more than a vocation.  I appreciate the dancers who shared their insights here.
